Message from the Managing Director

We are very proud to present the results of the AllSafe inaugural 2010 Sustainability Report.

For the first time we have demonstrated what we have known for a longtime – that AllSafe is having a positive impact on the community.

The report shows a snapshot of three of our stores, which combined, will lead to emissions reductions of more than 4,600tonnes CO2e per annum.The report also shows an average carbon footprint of 42 tCO2e per annum for each store.

Through the process of researching this report, we have identified many ways to reduce our own and our supply chain’s carbon footprints. We will now be trialing a whole range of additional initiatives, including LED lighting, solar PV, alternative fuels, green power and the carbon offsetting of our air travel.

This report is an overview of the ongoing AllSafe journey to sustainability. As AllSafe’s first sustainability report, this document will form part of an annual report to highlight the inner workings of AllSafe Energy Efficient Products and the emerging green economy.

We live in exciting times where all of us have the ability to make a difference.
