Green AUSSIE Franchise Powers into US Market

WHILE most businesses have contracted during the G.F.C, an Australian “green business” AllSafe Energy Efficient Products has managed to thrive. Partly due to the release of innovative ‘World First’ products such as its Solar and Wind Calculator as an iPhone ‘App’ and also its expansion into the USA with the first of its 280 - 310 stores set to open early next year. This expansion will potentially create thousands of Green jobs, saving American home owners money, while minimising their carbon footprints.

International expansion. AllSafe will be part of a joint venture with US-based franchise specialist firm ‘United Franchise Group’ having over 1400 Franchises. The AllSafe one-stop-shop energy efficiency stores will be branded as ‘SuperGreen Solutions’ in the USA and Canada with the first store being launched in West Palm Beach, Florida in March 2011. Allsafe’s CEO Sean Cochrane said it was exciting that the “little Aussie company was going global”. With the demand for energy efficiency products being insatiable in the Australian market, he was confident the US market would offer the same need for “total green energy solutions”.

“We are on-track to opening our eleventh AllSafe store on Australia’s east coast in the space of 18 months, with plans for 52 franchisees in Australia, providing up to 936 green jobs for the Australian economy... and with 280-310 stores planned for America, we stand to inject thousands of jobs into the US economy when they need it most. ‘World First’ iPhone App. The group is launching a revolutionary iPhone application in mid September at China’s World Solar Cities Convention, with its formal launch to the American market at the ‘West Coast Green’ Conference in San Francisco. “The AllSafe app allows people to roughly calculate their payback, dollar savings and carbon emission (CO2) savings if they were to install a solar power, wind power or solar hot water unit”. As a free download this is a “fantastic tool that anybody can use to calculate potential energy and dollar savings from their lounge room.” Product Developer Mark Hawley said.

In a further Joint Venture, with ‘Our Home Spaces’ (OHS) from the USA that uses Smart Phone Technology. AllSafe has secured the exclusive Australian rights and licence to distribute consumer-friendly energy management solutions. These use WiFi internet heartbeats to the ‘cloud’ to enable the consumer to monitor and control energy-consuming devices throughout the home and control the settings remotely via the internet or Smart Phone.

Community awareness. The team at AllSafe aims to show that ‘green can be good’ with the AllSafe House initiative – a project designed to help youth who have lost their way. AllSafe will use its contacts to build a sustainable energy neutral refuge to give homeless youths a place to live. A condition of their stay will be that the youngsters accompany green tradesman out into the field and learn about energy efficiency, and build a work ethic. “We think the AllSafe House concept can put back into the community as it shows that green can be good in more ways than one.” Mr Hawley said.
