Quality 100% Polyester Acoustic Insulation for Ceilings, Walls and Between Floors

The QuietStuf® range of acoustic insulation can reducesound transmission between rooms by 6-8 *Rw points incommon wall systems. This reduces loud speech to a low mumble, in normal conditions.

QuietStuf® 75 (75mm thick) is ideal for use in internalwalls to reduce sound between bedrooms, home theatre, kitchens and laundries. Ideal for use as a sound absorber in a broad range of applications. QuietStuf® 75 provides a thermal rating of R1.5.

QuietStuf® 90 (90mm thick) is an enhanced noise control Batt for use in external walls to greatly reduce noise from traffic, aircraft or industry entering the build-ing. QuietStuf® 90 also provides a thermal rating of R2.0.

QuietStuf® 100 (100mm thick) is the ideal noise controlsolution between floors or  where a 100mm cavity is available. It dramatically reduces airborne noise such as traffic, aircraft and home theatre. It also provides a thermal rating of R2.5.

QuietStuf® 200 (200mm thick) is the high end noise control solution for ceilings and between floors to provide maximum infill performance. With a thermal rating of R4.5 it can be used in any ceiling application and provides dramatic reductions in noise intrusion.

Application

QuietStuf® batts should be used in any construction cavity where noise reduction is desired from one side to the other of the cavity.

Where to use:  Examples of areas for sound treatment:

Internal Walls:  Home Theatre

External Walls:  Between adjoining bedrooms,

Ceilings:  Laundry

Between Floors: Ceilings - Aircraft Noise

   Between floors in your home (noise transfer from upstairs)  

   External walls to reduce; road noise, mower noise etc.

Depending on the wall or construction system QuietStuf® batts can decrease noise transfer by up to 8 decibels. In most cases this will prevent normal television, bathroom or domestic sounds being transmitted through walls.
