Please
follow these simple installation instructions when installing
Woolmen Batts:
Load
bags of batts into ceiling cavity to the left and right
of centre to enable a safe walking passage.
Lay batts from outer edge towards the centre of the
ceiling. This allows for the tearing to size comfortably
in the higher centre of the ceiling cavity.
Lift electrical wiring and place over batts where possible.
A clearance of 100mm should be left around exposed lights
and ceiling exhaust fans. Transformers should be placed
on joists. A clearance of 150mm should be left around
heater flues and chimneys.
Use a rake or stick to push the batts into hard to reach
spaces.
Always
dispose of bag wrapping toward ceiling access entry
for easy removal.

approved insulation is manufactured in standard widths,
